Alexandre Denoyer, MD, PhD, FEBO, is French Prof. in Ophthalmology. He is currently working at Robert Debré University Hospital, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France.
Main fields of practice
- Corneal and ocular surface diseases. Dry eye disease, corneal dystrophy, keratoconus, corneal neuropathic pain.
- Corneal grafts. OCT-guided endothelial grafts (DMEK) and deep anterior lamelar grafts (DALK), penetrating keratoplasty, laser phototherapeutic keratectomy.
- Cataract surgery. Microincision cataract surgery and intraoperative assistance for implantation, premium IOLs, femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (femtophaco, FLACS)
- Refractive surgery. Myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia, presbyopia. Photorefractive keratectomy. Clear lens exchange, PRELEX.
Education & Research
French Prof. in Ophthalmology, Alexandre Denoyer teaches at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA). Moreover, he is past Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, France.
In parallel, he is driving clinical and basic researches at INSERM, team UMRS-1320, Faculty of Medicine, and has been past researcher at the Institut de la Vision, and Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital (Team of Prof. Christophe Baudouin), Paris, France.
He is also editorial assistant of the Journal Français d’Ophtalmologie.
